Steel finger expansion joint
VHF steel finger expansion joint made by Vinh Hung Investment and Production Company Limited (Vinh Hung IP), includes 2 types: Welded connection and connection with bolt, in compliance with following: TCVN 13067:2020, TCVN 11823:2017, AASHTO LRFD.
VHF steel finger expansion joint is integrally manufactured at Vinh Hung IP factory – the joint is made from finger steel plate with accessories such as high strength bolt, anchor steel systems and drainage system for expansion joint, etc.
VHF steel finger expansion joint has high accuracy and convenience for the new construction and installation, repair and replacement of the old expansion joints as well as inspection and maintenance works in service.
VHF steel finger expansion joint accommodates to medium movement and big movement, and can be used for both straight and skew bridges.

To ensure the long-life durability, VHF steel finger expansion joint is protected against corrosion by the following methods: two-component epoxy coat, PU-based painting (Polyurethane) in accordance with the corrosion categories specified in ISO 12944 (TCVN 12705). In particular, the Al–Mg thermal spraying method (at the ratio of 95% Al and 5% Mg) ensures the anti-corrosion durability of up to 100 years, proven by salt-spraying test in 12.000 hours (8-hour dry-wet cycle repetition) under ASTM B117 standards.
